Louise & Nick – Wedding Photography at Oakley Hall

It was another sunny day at Oakley Hall for the wedding of Louise and Nick on 4th June and quite a bit warmer than the last time I’d been there for a wedding in March. The happy couple had a few surprises for their guests, including the whole bridal party dancing down the aisle after the ceremony, an excellent Elvis tribute performer at the start of the meal and a variation on the usual slow first dance in the evening.  It all made for a fun day for everyone and it was our pleasure to be there as their wedding photographers.

Here are a few shots from the day.

Wedding Photography at Trinity Church in Basingstoke

Fran & Gary were married at the Trinity Methodist Church in Basingstoke and had their reception at St John’s School. They had no luck with the weather as it rained for most of the day, but nobody was going to let that dampen their spirits and everyone had a lovely time. There was a break in the clouds during the afternoon, long enough for the children to get some time on the bouncy castle and for the happy couple to get outside for some photos in the pretty gardens of the school.

Rachel & Lee – Wedding Photography at The Basingstoke Country Hotel

Returning to the Basingstoke Country Hotel to photograph the wedding of Rachel and Lee brought back memories for Sally and me, as we were married here just over four years ago. We were recommended to the happy couple by a friend who had been an usher at another wedding that we photographed last year and it was great to see some familiar faces amongst the guests.

The weather was kind to us, providing one of the hottest days of the year so far, and everybody had a lot of fun, including the wedding photographers! Special mention has to go to Lewis for one of the funniest best man speeches we’ve heard, which had everyone in fits and gave us some great photo opportunities.

Here are a few shots from the day.

Rebecca & Danny – Pre-Wedding Photoshoot in Basingstoke

What a difference a day makes to the British weather! After enjoying warm sunshine at the previous days wedding, we met Rebecca and Danny at Eastrop Park in Basingstoke town centre late in the afternoon, after it had been raining most of the day. Unfortunately, the rain didn’t hold off for long, so we only managed a few pictures before having to run for shelter.

Rebecca and Danny’s wedding is next month at St Mary’s Church in Old Basing, with the reception at the Hampshire Court Hotel and we’ll be hoping for better luck with the weather on the big day. Here are a couple of the shots we managed to take before the heavens opened again.

Janine & Luke – Wedding Photography in Chandlers Ford

Janine and Luke were married on May 15th at St Boniface Church in Chandlers Ford and then had their reception at the Kings Court Masonic Centre. We saw a few spots of rain through the window while doing Janine’s bridal preparation shots, but it soon cleared up and the wedding and reception were bathed in sunshine.

After a lovely emotional ceremony and a few photos outside the church, the bride and groom were driven to the reception in a vintage Riley. The Kings Court Masonic Centre has very pretty gardens and a picturesque staircase inside, with a stained glass window at the top, making it ideal for wedding photography.

The whole day went according to plan and it was a pleasure to be there taking photos until just after the first dance, when we left the happy couple to enjoy the rest of the evening with their family and friends.

I hope you are having a great honeymoon guys and here are a few preview shots for you, with lots more to see when you get home.
