Kelly & David – Wedding Photography in Winchester

Kelly and David were married at St Peter’s church in the centre of Winchester. Photography of their big day started with Kelly’s preparations at her parent’s house in Shawford, before she was taken to church with her dad in a horse drawn carriage. With the August we’ve had this year, rain was inevitable, and the first shower came during the service but it stopped before the happy couple walked back down the aisle and we were able to get some photos outside the church. Kelly and David travelled to their reception at Itchen Abbas in the horse drawn carriage, accompanied by another shower and with a short stop next to the River Itchen at Martyr Worthy for some more photographs.

I hope you’re having a great honeymoon Mr & Mrs B and here is a short preview of your photos. Lots more to see when you get home.

Adrienne & Richard – Vintage Themed Wedding in Bramley

Adrienne and Richard chose a vintage theme for their wedding at the small Norman church of St James in Bramley and reception at the adjacent church hall. The persistent rain didn’t dampen the spirits but meant the celebrations were mostly inside the hall which had been beautifully decorated with balloons and Adrienne’s handmade bunting. The guests enjoyed some tea and scones on vintage crockery, before stepping outside for some photos under the shelter of a large tree. As luck would have it, the rain stopped just when it was time for me to leave them to enjoy their meal.

Here is a small selection of photos from the day.

Emma & Phil – Wedding Photography at the Apollo Hotel, Basingstoke

Well August is my busiest month this year and what lovely weather we’re having! Emma and Phil’s wedding at the Apollo Hotel in Basingstoke was the first of eight this month and the early part of the day was a sign of things to come, with Emma’s arrival at the venue accompanied by a heavy shower. The weather did improve considerably after this though and the day went off without a hitch, apart from Emma suffering from a migrain during the wedding breakfast and having to go for a lie down after the speeches. While Emma was recovering, Phil and his groomsmen enjoyed a cigar and we got some fun shots including a bit of tree climbing!

Emma rejoined the party in time for the first dance and had recovered enough to celebrate into the early hours. Here is a small selection of shots from the day.

Tanvi & Vishal – Wedding Photography in London

Tanvi and Vishal’s wedding events continued with their civil wedding in the Merton Registry Office at Morden Park House. Time was a bit short after the late afternoon ceremony, so we went to Morden Hall Park with the bridal party for some photos before the wedding. Morden Park House was built in the 1770s and the Grade II listed building is a lovely setting for a wedding. After the ceremony and some group photos in front of the house, it was off to Rejez Bar in Norbury for dinner. The celebrations continued late into the night at the Fine Line in Bow Church Yard, after another short photo session with the happy couple near St Paul’s.

Thanks for inviting us to be your wedding photographers guys – we had a great time. 🙂 Here is a small selection of shots from the day.

Tanvi & Vishal – Engagement in Wembley

The Club 2000 Banqueting Suite, next to Wembley Stadium, was the venue for Tanvi and Vishal’s Chandlo Matli (Engagement) in July. I always love getting the opportunity to photograph Indian events because they are so exciting and colourful, and this one was just that. Tanvi was escorted into the building by a couple of dohl players from Dohl Squad. After the formalities, group photos and a meal, the guests were entertained with a dance by Tanvi’s sisters and cousins. The biggest cheer of the day came during the first dance of the evening when Vish dropped to one knee and put the engagement ring on Tanvi’s finger.

Here are a few shots from the day – next up will be the civil wedding.
