Later in the day after the Mehndi Party, the next of Tanvi and Vishal’s wedding events that we attended was the Garba. Here are a few shots from the evening – more can be found on the Facebook Page.

So this was the start of a wedding we’ve been looking forward to for some time. Sally and I were lucky enough to be invited to spend a week in India to photograph the wedding of Tanvi and Vishal and it was an amazing experience! Here are a few shots from Tanvi’s Mehndi Party on the first day after we arrived. There will be several more posts to come with the other events.

After starting the year at one stunning venue, I was at another one on Sunday for the wedding of Paula and Mark at Tylney Hall. It was a beautiful sunny day, allowing plenty of photos outside in the gorgeous grounds, although it was a little bit chilly. Photography started with some shots of Mark and his groomsmen outside, before continuing up in the bridal suite where Paula was all ready to go and looking lovely in her stunning red dress. After the ceremony and more photos in and around the hotel, I left the happy couple and the guests to enjoy the wedding breakfast and celebrate into the evening.

Holly and Peter’s big day was my first wedding of 2011 and what a great start to the year it was at one of my favourite venues, the Elvetham near Hartley Wintney in Hampshire. Photography started with Holly’s preparations in the spacious bridal suite and then downstairs for a few shots with the boys. The ceremony was quite beautiful, with some lovely personal vows exchanged by Holly and Peter and a couple of emotional readings, which all had a few people reaching for the tissues. Afterwards, the weather behaved well enough for some photos outside with the happy couple, before the rest of the day was spent in the warmth of the hotel. Here are a few shots from a very enjoyable days work and some more will be on the Facebook page later.

Karen and John’s wedding at the Apollo Hotel in Basingstoke was my final one of 2010. It was another lovely relaxed day and very enjoyable to be there to photograph it for them. Karen and John are not big fans of posing for photos, so the formals were kept to a minimum, which meant more time to capture lots of natural shots. Here is a very small selection.
