As it’s Valentines Day, I thought it would be nice to kick off my new blog with a look back at the wedding of Andrea and Alex who are celebrating their first anniversary today. The wedding was at the stunning venue of Wasing Park in Aldermaston, Berkshire. Wasing Park was a fairly new venue at the time, having hosted it’s first wedding in the previous July, and is a superb location for wedding photographs.

When I met the happy couple at the venue a week before, we had trouble getting up the long driveway to the middle of the estate because of all the snow on the ground. By the time the big day arrived though, most of the snow had melted and the sun shone pretty much all day. Andrea and Alex are a lovely relaxed couple, who we’d got to know quite well after shooting their engagement photos the summer before,  and their wedding day was filled with lots of love and laughter. It really was a pleasure and a privilege to be involved.
