Wedding Photography at The Wellington Arms

The Wellington Arms Wedding Photography with Lucy & Brandon

I recently spent a day with Lucy and Brandon for their wedding photography at The Wellington Arms in Stratfield Turgis, on the A33 between Basingstoke and Reading. The weather wasn’t the best, but it didn’t dampen their spirits and it was lovely to spend the day with them.

As usual, my day started with some detail shots of dresses, shoes and flowers in the bridal suite. I spent some time with the bride and bridesmaids getting ready in the room next door, before meeting the groom and his groomsmen outside the inn. They all looked great in their Scottish attire and we got some photos before the rain started.

The wedding ceremony was inside in the Waterloo Suite, but we managed to get outside afterwards for some photos between the showers. The open sided barn in the Rose Garden is ideal for group photos in inclement weather.
