Gill & Tony – Wedding Photography at Cliddesden and Audleys Wood

The village church of St Leonard in Cliddesden, Hampshire was the scene of Gill and Tony’s wedding last weekend. Afterwards, they traveled by horse drawn carriage to Audleys Wood Hotel for their reception, via a quick stop for a glass of champagne outside their local pub. The weather stayed fine, allowing Gill, Tony and their guests to enjoy the lovely grounds at Audleys Wood and the celebrations continued into the evening with some circle dancing in the marquee.

I was assisted at this wedding by my friend and fellow wedding photographer Mark Dell, who did a great job. The 4th and 5th shots below, of Tony and the groomsmen, were taken by Mark while I was busy covering the Gill’s preparations with her bridesmaids at the hotel. The happy couple leaving the church in the carriage is also one of Mark’s. Thanks again for all your help Mark.

Here are a few shots from a really enjoyable day.

Christina & Ben – Engagement Photo Shoot in Surrey

Planning outdoor photo shoots has not been easy with the recent British summer weather, but last weekend Christina, Ben and I managed to avoid the rain to shoot their engagement photos on a walk through Chantry Woods near Guildford. Christina and Ben are getting married in October at one of my favourite venues, the Elvetham, so I’m looking forward to seeing them again on the big day.

Here are a few shots from their engagement photo shoot on Saturday.

Clare & Andy – Wedding Photography at Lainston House Hotel

Clare and Andy’s big day was on Sunday at the beautiful Lainston House Hotel, just outside Winchester in Hampshire. We were very lucky with the weather, as the regular rain showers didn’t interfere with the flow of the day and we were able to get get out into the stunning grounds for plenty of photographs. Professional toastmaster, Malcolm Jones, ensured that everything ran like clockwork and the whole day went perfectly. It was a real pleasure for Sally and me to spend the day with such a lovely group of people.

Here is a small selection of shots from the day for you Clare and Andy, before you go off on honeymoon. Have a great time and there will be lots more photos waiting for you when you get back. 🙂

Gill & Tony – Engagement Photo Shoot

Gill and Tony are getting married at St Leonard’s church in Cliddesden in July, with a reception at Audleys Wood Hotel. I met them in Basingstoke on a scorching Sunday morning last weekend for their engagement photo session. These sessions are very worthwhile, as they help couples to feel more relaxed about their wedding photos when they see that having your photo taken doesn’t have to be an ordeal and can actually be fun. All of my wedding couples get one of these shoots included in their photography package and they also get to keep the photos.

Here are a few shots from my walk around Basingstoke town centre with Gill and Tony, who soon got into the spirit of it and had a few laughs.

Mel’s Photo Shoot in the City

Having lived and worked in London for a few years, Mel is leaving to travel around the world before going home to Trinidad. On Monday we made the most of the only dry evening this week to do a farewell to London photo shoot around St Paul’s. Mel’s friend Megi came along to help and joined in for some photos too. Here are a few of the shots we captured.
