Mel’s Photo Shoot in the City

Having lived and worked in London for a few years, Mel is leaving to travel around the world before going home to Trinidad. On Monday we made the most of the only dry evening this week to do a farewell to London photo shoot around St Paul’s. Mel’s friend Megi came along to help and joined in for some photos too. Here are a few of the shots we captured.

Clare & Andy – Pre-Wedding Photo Shoot

Clare and Andy’s big day is only six weeks away now and we met up at Crabtree Plantation in Old Basing on Sunday morning for a walk in the sunshine and a practice session for their wedding photography. The kids joined in too for some family portraits as well as the usual couple shots. Here are a few shots from Sunday morning and I’m now looking forward to the wedding at Lainston House Hotel, Winchester in June.

Sarah & Andy – Wedding Photography at The Clock Barn

On Easter Saturday I was at the Clock Barn at Tufton Warren, near Whitchurch, for the wedding of Sarah and Andy. Photography of the day started in Micheldever Station, where the bride and groom were getting ready at home. With the bridesmaids as well as some family and friends there too, the house was a hive of activity and excitement. When everyone was ready, we took a few photos in the garden and then the happy couple traveled together to the barn and walked up the aisle hand in hand to get married. The weather behaved for most of the day, with just a brief shower in the afternoon before the sun came out to make it a lovely evening. This was a very relaxed wedding, everybody enjoyed the day and it was my pleasure to be there as photographer.

Here are a few shots from the day.

Sarah & Andy – Engagement Photo Shoot in Winchester

This morning I met Sarah and Andy in Winchester for our second attempt at an engagement photo shoot, after the first one was rained off last weekend. Today had a very autumnal feel to it, but it stayed dry so that we could take a walk alongside the River Itchen and then up St Giles Hill, where you get some great views of Winchester. When the weather is kind, this is certainly a lovely time of year for an engagement shoot, with all the colour in the trees and the leaves on the ground providing some beautiful backgrounds. Here are a few shots from this morning and I’m looking forward to taking a lot more at Sarah and Andy’s wedding in April.

Sam and Jamie – Wedding Photography on Hayling Island

Bank holiday weekend saw me down on Hayling Island for the wedding of Sam and Jamie at St Peter’s Church and The Langstone Hotel. Sam’s bridal preparations were made at her parents house, to the sound of rain hitting the conservatory roof, but it soon cleared up and the sun shone for the rest of the day. Following a lovely service in the little church of St Peter’s, Sam & Jamie took the scenic route to the reception at The Langstone in a beautiful horse drawn carriage. After the wedding breakfast and speeches, the sun setting over the harbour made a nice back drop for some photos. Here are a few shots from Sam & Jamie’s happy day.
